Watchful
I had been in London for all of about two hours (time enough to get to my hotel and and have a shower) when I decided to go for a walk in Green Park towards the palace. When I got there I found huge security and vast groups of tourists. Seems that the horse guards were rehearsing for something big in the next week. Despite the security there was an almost festival atmosphere with tourists (myself included) taking an unexpected chance for a sneak preview. Even the police, while watchful seemed in the mood. Except for this guy who seemed to be able tune out everything except his job. I liked the juxtaposition of him and the pageantry behind.
